The micromolded texture works with Gripknit to help adapt to your foot for even better stud-to-ball strikes.
The full Flyknit upper is designed for speed. Atomknit, an incredibly lightweight and durable Flyknit, on the sides reduces weight and provides support. Gripknit, Atomknit, and Flyknit combine to form the thinnest Mercurial upper to date, bringing you closer to the ball and reducing break-in time.
The wave-shaped traction pattern is a series of cascading studs, so it involves more surface area of the Air Zoom unit. The largest stud is the same height as traditional central studs, so traction is not compromised.
