Nike introduces the new Nike Mercurial

Let's check the new model of the American brand's speed silo - it's loaded with novelties.

The first thing we want to point out is that this is one of those changes that at first glance do not seem completely radical, but which nevertheless brings us a completely different sensation.

If we talk about the upper we have a new material design that reduces the number of layers from five to three and provides a much softer and more comfortable upper than the previous generation, but without renouncing to the essence of the Nike Mercurial boot.

It is very comfortable from the very first uses and also relatively adaptable to wide feet.

If we move on to the touch thanks to the new upper design, we have the Gripknit that comes directly from the Nike Phantom and providess that extra touch without the sticky power from the Phantom silo. It's something that, mixed with the new upper, gives us a sensational combo.

Now let's check out the outsole. Those arrow-shaped studs that we have seen so much throughout the years in Mercurial are still there. The Airzoom unit has been somewhat reduced in size but it still gives us that wonderful bounce when we step on the pitch.

In conclusion, a button, the sensations are brutal and they adapt perfectly to the new era of football, a fast football, with extreme pressure where having a support like these Mercurial is a complete success. One of our favourites of the last years - Nike has done it again.
