Mizuno Morelia Neo football boots
We’ll start with a pair of boots that embody Mizuno’s philosophy of evolving gradually, with each new version bringing a slight improvement. They feature natural leather on the front and a synthetic microfibre back, with the latest versions incorporating improvements to the sole, as well as a knitted panel around the laces.
Maximum comfort and lightness without compromising on control or touch at all – that’s what this natural leather offers, which is simply as soft as butter. The folks at Mizuno know how to make great football boots, and the Morelia range is a prime example of this.
Mizuno Alpha football boots
We’re now on the third version of the Alpha range, the latest boot to join the brand’s catalogue and, strange as it may seem, the only one not made from natural leather. Instead, it features a very soft upper designed to provide maximum comfort – a hallmark of Mizuno – without compromising on that minimalist, snug fit characteristic of speed boots.
What’s more, the sole features a triad of studs, providing maximum responsiveness; the Japan version also has a carbon plate inserted inside, which further boosts the sheer, insane speed you can achieve with this boot.
Here is the new Mizuno range. Personally, these are two of our favourite speed boots, as they represent the two worlds where we can find the perfect balance to feel fast at every moment of the game.
