The new adidas pack brings some fresh surprises in terms of colours. Each of the German brand’s models features a signature colour – a striking shade that will play a key role, as, as well as being the standout colour of each boot, it will also feature prominently in adidas’ other major pack: the Uniforia Pack. What’s more, many of you will no doubt have already spotted these boots on the pitch on the feet of some players, but couldn’t find them on any football boot websites. This is because adidas hadn’t released them in Europe until now. At the time of their launch, these boots had only been available in Asia and the Americas. But let’s not dwell on that any longer and dive straight into the magic of these new adidas football boots.
As you may have noticed by now, there’s something a bit mysterious about this pack, as not all adidas-sponsored players will be wearing these boots. Only a few footballers, such as João Félix, Timo Werner and Inter’s Stefano Sensi, will be sporting them on the pitch. The rest will continue to play in the other adidas pack, the Uniforia Pack. You’ll also have noticed that one model is missing from this pack. That’s because the Nemeziz boots haven’t been included in this new colourway.
Let’s take a look at the technologies featured in each of the models in this collection, starting with the boots that João Félix, for example, will be wearing. We’re talking about the adidas Copa – the laceless boots with an upper made entirely of leather. The leather is incredibly soft and will mould quickly to the foot. What’s more, they feature a very bold colour scheme, with a striking greenish-yellow covering practically the entire boot. There are no other prominent colours. And this is where the Uniforia Pack comes into play: if you recall the version of these boots included in that pack, they feature a white base with splashes of fluorescent yellowish-green – exactly the same colour found on the adidas boots from the Locality Pack.
We now turn to the adidas speed boots, a truly lightweight model worn by many players looking to outmanoeuvre their opponents through dribbling and speed. We’re talking about the adidas X football boots, made from an extremely lightweight and thin synthetic material, designed to offer exceptional, unhindered ball contact. The Elite range of this model is laceless, although the 19.1 version does feature laces for those players seeking a different feel and preferring a boot that fits more snugly. Here, too, we find a very bold colour: a vibrant pink that covers the entire boot. And, once again, this same colour appears in some of the details of the adidas football boots from the Uniforia Pack.
Finally, we have the Predator football boots, a model that by now you’ll all surely know by heart. They feature rubber studs – the well-known Demonskin – which provide greater grip and control over the ball. They also feature that high-cut, aggressive-looking sock, and, finally, a sole divided into two plates with 11 studs. As for the colour, it’s a vibrant red that also features in the Uniforia Pack, combined in this case with fluorescent yellow detailing.
