The new Reusch Pure Contact III goalkeeper gloves are sure to delight any goalkeeper, especially those feeling a bit nostalgic. Right now, all footballers share the same desire: to step back onto the pitch. However, it is essential that we continue to follow all safety measures so that, when all this is over, we can get back to what we love most: enjoying football.

Reusch Arrow goalkeeper gloves

Just as with the Reusch Freccia G3, the essence of Reusch remains very much in evidence in this new range. The return of the iconic ‘arrow’ makes clear the German-Italian brand’s intention to revive one of its hallmarks. Drawing inspiration from the classic goalkeeper look of the late 1980s and early 1990s, Reusch pays tribute to a whole generation of goalkeepers who defended their goal with these gloves. The result is a perfect blend of the latest technologies and a classically inspired design, easily recognisable to any fan of the brand.

The back of these new Reusch goalkeeper gloves retains the seamless design characteristic of the Arrow range, featuring a neoprene construction based on the brand’s proprietary FreeFlex technology. Thanks to this, the hands enjoy greater freedom of movement and a much more natural fit. At the wrist, there is an asymmetrical fastening design that incorporates a larger area of high-strength latex. This solution not only increases the effective surface area of the palm but also improves protection against abrasion in one of the areas that suffers the most wear and tear during a match.

The palm – the most important part of any goalkeeper’s glove – features the renowned G3 natural latex, a foam designed to deliver maximum performance on soft surfaces. It is an extremely soft and delicate compound, capable of providing exceptional grip, although it requires special care to ensure its performance remains intact for longer.

Let’s now talk about the cut. These are goalkeeper gloves with a seamless construction, which results in a predominantly negative cut. However, this model also incorporates a slight rollfinger element – a combination that enhances the fit. Reusch calls this construction the Evolution Negative Cut ESS. This cut wraps around the fingertips in the rollfinger style and, as it reaches the back of the hand, transitions to a negative cut construction. The design is completed by the asymmetrically designed Slip-On Cuff, which provides a secure, comfortable and natural fit.

A genuine collector’s item that will delight the most nostalgic goalkeepers and which will also help make the wait until they return to the pitch a little more bearable. Remember that the new Reusch Pure Contact Arrow G3 is now available on the Fútbol Emotion website.
