The new Joma futsal ball was unveiled in a surprising way, though what doesn’t surprise us so much is the attention to detail and craftsmanship of the Toledo-based brand. The brand with the ‘J’ logo is one of the best and most reliable when it comes to Joma futsal shoes. As we always say here at Fútbol Emotion, we’re very proud that a Spanish brand like Joma is always on the podium in this highly competitive market.

2020 Málaga playoff ball

We knew that Joma was working on something with the RFEF, but we never expected that something so simple would result in such an attractive ball. Designed for the players of the 14 teams taking to the court, this is the ball chosen for the play-offs for the First Division and Women’s First Division titles, as well as for the play-offs for promotion to the First Division. What stands out most about this futsal ball is its decoration in the colours of our flag. This creates an instinctive sense that this is something special, that the product before us is for a special occasion.

Designed in the colours of the Spanish national team, the ball features innovative technical characteristics, thanks in part to the use of top-quality materials. The outer layer is made of 3D microfibre PU with a rubber coating. This provides a soft feel whilst ensuring grip on the court and for the player. The panels are stitched with strong, lightweight polyester thread. Its interior consists of five overlapping layers which, together, create a ball suitable for professional use that has met all the requirements to achieve the FIFA Quality Mark.

Málaga will host this event from 23rd to 30th of June, featuring the eight men’s teams: El Pozo Murcia, Viña Albali Valdepeñas, Inter Movistar, Palma Futsal, Osasuna Xota, Levante Futsal, Jaén Paraíso Interior, and, of course, the reigning champions, Barça Lassa.

We are living in an age where technology is making its way into our football boots and futsal shoes; fortunately for traditionalists, trendsetters, and even those who prefer a blend of the two, there is a place for everyone at this Spanish brand, as demonstrated by the new ball that will take centre stage at the Costa del Sol arena.
