SP follows its path with a clear goal, to offer the best products for football goalkeepers. Therefore, following this idea and just as it always happens around this time of the year, SP launches its new collection of gloves “Next Generation”, which includes updates that will not go unnoticed.
Before we start talking about the technical details on every model, we must mention the brand´s logo. The SP logo has evolved, a much more modern and aggressive style will be responsible to identify the brand´s products. A necessary change since the gloves kept evolving year after year, so Fútbol Emotion considered it was time to do the same with the logo.
Now let´s talk about the important matters. What are we going to see in the SP Next Generation collection? First, it is necessary to mention that all 5 glove lines have experienced changes that could be more or less meaningful, depending on the model.
There is little to say about the Valor line that you don´t already know. More than six years being a reference at SP thanks to its classic style. Although this line is starting to accept new flashy colours, the glove´s structures and the sensations it provides us with, are those of a classic glove from the 90s, the golden age when it comes to the production of goalkeeper gloves. Professional-performance model.
The Mussa line does not rest and keeps evolving year after year. This season all the work has been focused on the wristband. The neoprene is the main star increasing the tension on the wrist and the length acting as a bandage that reinforces the wrist. Special reinforced glove for a professional performance under any conditions.
The goalkeeper glove that experiences the biggest evolution within the current SP collection. The fans of this line will miss the Dual Core piece on the backhand, however we have changed it for a new rubber piece equally functional, elastic and much more integrated in the glove´s design. The other features included on the Pantera Xenon goalkeeper glove are 2.0 rollfinger cut that eliminates the palm´s central seams without losing latex area. Model designed to provide the goalkeeper with professional performance.
The 8th generation of the No Goal line experiences an important upgrade. The No Goal VIII gloves maintain all the lightness and technical elements on the backhand, but we have focused all the evolution on the wristband´s zone. A new extra-long neoprene material that fastens the glove to the hand like a bandage. The fastening strap has been re-designed to achieve a personalised fastening, but only wrapping around the wrist once instead of twice. This way it achieves a better mobility sensation for the hand.
SP´s level of involvement with women´s football is maximum. One more year, we have decided to update our gloves for women. The Earhart model has been created following the guidelines established by some of the best female professional goalkeepers. A tighter structure, remodel of the fingers and a distribution of latex and textile whose goal is to make the glove easier to use while protecting the weak spots of the hand.
The new SP Next Generation collection also comes with the new Odin line and they are available on the Fútbol Emotion website starting today by clicking HERE.
