Complete change of stage in Nike. After a few collections of vibrand and shinny colorways, it's time to bring a some darkness to the collection. These new colorways might not stand out as much as past collection, but the season has started and it's time to get serious about it, leave all those shiny colors and bring the metallic finnish to work.
When it comes to the finish, it's probably one of the most complex collections from Nike. It's easy to use a primary color in all the boots, but the colors we find in the Electro Flare collection with that metallic finish, for sure, takes more time when you have to put it in these boots. HYPERVENOM PHANTOM 2 Electro Flare
The youngest model from Nike is one of the models that admits better the aggressive colors. This boot was created for the high aigility player who can change the game with a sigle action, deadly skils, turns, sharp cuts and who can finish the action.
Neymar is the flag ship player for this silo which somes with the NikeSkin upper without stitching, multiple flex lines on the entire supper and with Flywire technology that will add support in all movements.
What stands out the most in this model is the snake tongue design in the outsole that helps with turns. The aesthetics of the outsole are part of the image of this aggressive model to make sleare you are a player who is going to attack.
MERCURIAL SUPERFLY Electric Flare
The speed boot is now 18 months old since Nike brought back the Superfly concept only a few months before the Brazil World Cup 2014 took off. And from thant moment we haven't seen too many dark colorways for this boot. But now we have it and it looks really good with the metallic colors and the Volt details in the upper.
In comparison with the Hypervenom Phantom, the Mewcurial Superfly is entirely made with 100% Flyknit material. And in the upper we will find a layer of NikeSkin that will protect and improve the touch with the balle.
And as what happens with the Hypervenom line, the outsole is an important element. The flagship player, Cristiano Ronaldo, and other high speed players, need to have maximum traction on high speed actions. Keys? the stud pattern distribution, the bladed studs and obviously the carbon fyber material we find in the plate that makes more a better reacion and energy return.
MAGISTA OBRA Electro Flare
Magista is the boot created by combining two concepts: Mago and Regista (magician and director in italian). So you can imagine to what kind of player its focused: player who control the game, the team, the rhythm of the game and have that magic touch on their feet.
Andres Iniesta was the roll model to create this new boot. What do all players need? first thing, good touch with the ball. Controls, passes, accuracy, curve... all of it need of a good upper with some grip to it (the Nikeskin layer with take care of the grip) and also, enough thickness. To make it thicker, they add a third layer of Flyknit material (the Superfly only has 2 layers). Will weight be a problem? No. It's a light material and a thir layer won't add much weight to it.
The outsole is an important element here. We have no need of special traction for high speed or deadly agility like with the Hypervenom. What the Magista line needs is to be stable for the footballer. Specially when we are going to turn to receive or hide the football. And with that concept they have built the outsole using Pebax and Nylon
TIEMPO LEGEND V Electro Flare
I havent talked with anyone from Nike but I would bet that this model was the toughest model to adapt to the Electro Flare collection. Why? The reason is that it's very hard to die natural leather, it's a complex process.
The two deffender of Spain's National Football team starting line (Piqué and Sergio Ramos) are the ambassadors of this model. What does the Tiempo player choose? COMFORT. The Tiempo Legend is all about comfort and has become a reference in the market because of this. Why? Because they use some innovations combined with a super soft K leather material for the upper that will stretch to the shape of our foot.
The outsole again combines innovation concepts (Pebax-nylon plate) with traditional concepts(conical studs almos for the entire plate). It's stable and very comfortable.
