This new shirt still features the Dri-FIT material as main technology. This patent material from nike has been a big success the past years since what it does is ejects moisture so you can feel dry and comfortable during the entire performance. This material has been implemented on shirts as well as for shorts. Thanks to this technology we will keep an optimum body temperature.

Sweat is not only important point that the shirt Dark Light helps remove. The body also produces over temperature during sports practice. And the most effective way to regulate body temperature is creating an air flow through the body of the players through the vents and mesh panels in key areas that heat the most. Few people give importance to good management of the body temperature, but it's key to improving the athlete's performance.

Nike is always ahead when it comes to innovation innovation, but never forgets the implication for a more sustainable world. For several seasons ago their performance shirts are made from recycled polyester. A material that offers identical performance to traditional virgin polyester but of course, with minimal environmental impact. Is this a marketing campaign? Not at all, the recycled polyester is a real and very simple to explain element: Nike develops its polyester shirts from recycled plastic bottles, melting it to produce a fine thread with a shape to make these shirts.

Each shirt is the result of 18 recycled bottles on average. What does this mean? The starting line of Paris Saint Germain with the new shirt Dark Light will be reusing 200 plastic bottles. Since 2010, date in which was implemented this system of construction, Nike has diverted over two billion plastic bottles from landfills to the pitch. And there's more, Nike is also reducing the energy consumed in the manufacturing process by 30% compared with traditional virgin polyester.

But that's enough talk about technologies concerned ... you probably know the reason for this color combination. Paris is the City of Light (la Ville lumière). With that Nike has tried to mix the dark atmosphere of the great nights of football with light distilled centuries the French Capital. Of course no lack of modern amenities such as a new modern version of the famous club crest in black, white and gray settling footballer proudly on his chest.
