Discover the Nike Wavelength Pack

We are going through a difficult time, a period in which what is a passion for many is a hobby or even a profession for others, and in which football has increasingly become an escape from the complex reality we are facing. For this reason, and with the return of football drawing ever closer, Nike has unveiled its new collection: the ‘Wavelength’ Pack.

Since yesterday, you can find Nike’s latest release at Fútbol Emotion: the ‘Wavelength’ Pack, a special collection from the American brand that will only be worn on the pitch at professional level by Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham of Chelsea FC (men’s football), and by Caroline Graham and Mariona Caldentey of FC Barcelona (women’s football).

These carefully selected footballers perfectly embody the concept and vision behind Nike’s positioning of the two ranges of football boots featured in this collection. A prime example is Mason Mount, who, in his Nike Phantom Vision II boots, seeks to create danger for opposing defences through his decisive passes, allowing his team-mate Tammy Abraham to use his pace to outpace defenders and find the back of the net time and again in his Nike Mercurial football boots. Similarly, we can see this same combination in FC Barcelona’s women’s team, where the creative Caroline Graham will delight her teammates with her new VSN IIs, whilst Mariona Caldentey is expected to continue adding to her goal tally with her Mercurial Vapor boots.

The upper of these boots features a one-piece, 360-degree construction, allowing the boot to mould perfectly to the entire foot. Its new micro-textured Flyknit fabric makes this new upper much softer, enabling players with slightly wider feet to wear these boots without any issues. The NikeSkin finish on the Flyknit section, combined with ACC technology, ensures players maintain optimal grip throughout the match, even in the most adverse weather conditions. The spectacular new two-piece modular outsole provides the support and stability players need for both sprinting and the most demanding stops.

The upper is made from Flyknit, a material that feels much softer and offers greater comfort during a match. The rougher texture of the material on the inside provides a surface with better grip, making it easier to control the ball and dribble at high speed using that part of the foot. The inner tongue features Ghost Laces technology, which remains a key feature in this new generation. In the internal chassis, Nike has incorporated its well-known QUADFIT system, a mesh-like internal structure located on the sides of the boot designed to provide greater stability and a more precise fit. The new outsole stands out for being extremely lightweight yet highly responsive. Thanks to this combination, Nike has managed to reduce the boot’s weight, allowing players to maximise the power generated with every stride, whilst also facilitating turns and changes of direction without compromising stability.
