Nike never ceases to amaze us. Until now, we had seen many things from brands, but never the launch of a collection in silos, with more than a month between one presentation and the next. That is what the swoosh brand has done with the launch of the Blue Print Pack. On the 17th of January, they presented Mercurial, and today, 38 days later, Phantom GT2 arrives.
The first thing that catches your eye about the new Nike Phantom GT2 football boots is the colour. With the launch of Mercurial, we thought that the name Blue Print Pack referred to the colour of the boots, but nothing could be further from the truth. For the Phantom GT2, the American brand has chosen a striking orange colour that will not leave anyone indifferent and will allow us to quickly identify the players wearing this silo on the pitch.
This is simply a cosmetic change, with no technological or functional alterations. Although they are arriving on their own, these Nike Phantom GT2 football boots are not a special edition, nor are they exclusive to any particular footballer. The brand has simply decided to launch this collection in phases, and 24th of February has been chosen as the date to present the new Phantom GT2 Blue Print.
We have already discussed the main colour of these new Nike football boots, so now it's time to move on to the complementary colours. For the details, the Americans have decided to include a much darker shade of orange, closer to red, which, like the main colour, really catches the eye. Black has been chosen for the swoosh, standing out above such striking shades and giving the brand logo the importance it deserves.
Finally, grey also plays an important role, as there are several lines of this colour on the upper of the new Nike Phantom GT2 football boots. Furthermore, this same colour is used to outline the Nike logo on the inside of the boot.
Moving on to the upper, both the Flyknit in the central section and the laces are dyed the same orange colour as the rest of the boots, creating a uniform base that serves as a canvas on which to draw the other details featured on the upper of these new Nike Phantom GT boots.
That's all about the new Nike Phantom GT2 football boots, a colour change for Nike's most versatile silo, now available both in store and on the Fútbol Emotion website.
