Top 3 best football boots of 2023

Now, let's take a look back at what we consider to be the three best football boots of the year.

Bronze Medal

Let's start with Juanma Gonzalez's third choice: a special version of the New Balance Tekela with laces and a low cut. This boot gives us a lace-up alternative to the Tekela that we didn't have until now.

Next up is Pedro Mayo, who has chosen the new adidas Predator. This boot is a clear nod to the golden age of Predator, but in terms of functionality it has everything we could ask for from a modern adidas football boot.

Next is Ander Torres, who has chosen the special edition Puma King 'Art of Football', which evokes memories of the great Puma King figures of the past. Maradona, Pelé and Cruyff are all represented in this precious tribute.

Silver medal

Ander Torres chooses the adidas Predator Accuracy special edition Jude Bellingham for the top two. With the packaging and all the nods to the white club, it gives him a simply perfect look.

This time, Pedro Mayo and Juanma González have opted for the Mizuno Alpha as their second boot of the year — it's insane! It has a carbon fibre plate and all the comfort and detail of Mizuno's craftsmanship.

Gold medal

Next up is Pedro's top choice, the Skechers Razor. This boot is extremely comfortable and really good, and is the first indication of what this brand can offer the football market. It is a great product that deserves recognition this year.

For Juanma and Ander, there could be no other choice than the new adidas Predator Elite in its special 30^(th) anniversary version, which we celebrate with a spectacular video featuring Xavi Hernández.

Bonus track

Next, we move on to the bonus track that we include in videos like this one. For Juanma, this is the special adidas X shoe that was made for Lionel Messi to celebrate his World Cup victory. Aesthetically, it is simply fantastic.

Next up is Ander, who brings us Toni Kroos's adidas Adipure 11Pro boots, which flew off the shelves when they were released, showcasing the German player's unique and unparalleled style.

Finally, Pedro opts for another remake that he really likes: the Nike CTR 360 Maestri III. This boot wasn't particularly popular when it was released, but it has since become a firm favourite with football fans, which makes it even more special.

And that concludes our top three best football boots of 2023, a year with a bit of everything, which bodes well for a 2024 full of truly spectacular boots.
