The new adidas Speed Of Light football boots belong to the new collection that will be worn by the best adidas players during the start of the 2016-2017 season. Since you may already know, this collection is linked to the adidas Mercury pack and the new colours are the main update in this new collection.
adidas X16 Purechaos football boots
The football boots designed for fast and agile players have switched to the adidas Solar Red colour, which includes the brand´s logo on silver, so it stands out. On the other hand, there are no changes when it comes to its technical features, since the adidas X16 line of football boots was recently presented. Here are the most important features in case you haven´t heard about them:
Its framework made of TechFit synthetic microfibre completely covers the laces, which increases the surface suitable to kick the ball with. Also, the NSG (Non Stop Grip) finish helps us not losing too much grip under wet conditions. When it comes to the outsole, we can see that there is an external heel-pad that keep the foot in its place, and semi-conical studs all over the Sprint Frame. These boots will be worn by players such as Gareth Bale or Marcelo.
adidas ACE16+ Purecontrol fotball boots
The line of boots designed for creative players that control the game. This model comes in a fluor yellow colour-way and it includes the three adidas stripes. The first football boots made of thread without laces, that offers the same kicking surface free of interferences than the X16+ Purechaos adidas boots, but without having to add an additional layer to cover the laces.
adidas has also added the SprintFrame technology on the outsole for the ACE16+ Purecontrol, where we can see a total of 11 conical studs that facilitate quick turns without losing traction nor stability during any type of movement. All of this helps this model become one of the most technologically advanced football boots in the market. These boots wil be worn by players such as Pogba or Rakitic.
adidas Messi16+ Pureagility football boots
We finish this post talking about the Messi football boots, created for the Argentinian star. This model comes in a blue colour-way and it includes both Messi´s and the adidas logos on a silver colour. The framework is made of an elastic material that offers a compressive effect to achieve maximum fastening. So again, we have a layer that completely covers the laces while maintaining a personalised fastening.
On the other hand, there is no external heel-pad (it was included on the previous models). However thanks to the compressive effect and the heel-pad, it maintains a great level of fastening. When talking about the outsole we can see a distribution of triangular studs designed with Messi´s logo and studs that have been polished both on the front and the back. Las botas de Messi.
