The new collection of Nike boots has been launched for the start of the 2016/17 season as a tribute to those players who won the most important titles during last season.
NIKE ELITE PACK BOOTS
The Nike Mercurial, Magista, Hypervenom and Tiempo football boots are the chosen models that will be part of this pack. Only 11 players will get to wear them: Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr, Pique, Varane, Sterling, Lewandowski, Hazard, Hart, Götze, De Bruyne and Boateng. The colourway chosen is platinum, the colour of trophies, which is Nike´s tribute to its best players. This way we will know they are true champions when we see them on the pitch.
Nike´s speed model has reached its 5th generation, just as we explained on our Youtube channel. These boots have been designed to improve speed as much as possible without giving up great touch when making contact with the football.
In order to make this possible two very important matter had to be taken into account: first, the anatomical outsole is now lighter, the distribution of the studs has been modified and the plate has been updated to adapt to the foot´s shape. The second part is about the Flyknit material designed with a 3D finish all over the framework to improve the touch when making contact with the football.
Nike Hypervenom football boots
The Hypervenom model will be worn by Neymar Jr and Lewandowski. This models has been designed to provide attacking players with support, those players who take risks, dribble and finish plays.
After the framework was modified for the launch of the Spark Brilliance Pack, this model has become much more popular among players. It now combines a soft NikeSkin framework with the latest upgrades of the new model: Briocables, DynamicFit collar and a lighter outsole.
The Nike Tiempo Legend boots will be worn by Varane, Pique and Boateng. Last season, these players where defensive leaders in their teams and ended up winning the Champions League, La Liga and the Bundesliga respectively.
The Tiempo model has always been classified as a boot designed for classic players. However as we have mentioned in our reviews the only classic feature left in this boot is the kangaroo leather. Its framework offers a perfect fit and the outsole remains the same as demanded by professional football players who assured that part of the boot was already perfect.
