This colour, which aims to represent the glory of their achievements, blends with shades of white and green in a clear nod to the ‘Bondy’ culture – the neighbourhood where the striker grew up, which we’ve already seen in other special editions – whilst also reminding us of France’s away kit from the last World Cup.
However, what makes this boot so special – as with all special editions – is the attention to detail, and this edition is packed with it. With numbers on the heel counter, Roman numerals referring to Mbappé’s year of birth, as well as the crown on the AirZoom plate itself and even the French rooster, which also features on the boot, all of these elements make this edition truly unique.
What hasn’t changed about the boot, however, is its technical design, as it features the new Flyweaveultra upper, which provides that responsive and sleek fit without compromising on touch in the slightest.
