We start talking about the framework, which shows the most significative changes of this new model.The material used for the upper is made of thread, similar to the one we find on the model but it has a different pattern. A thin and elastic material that provides the player with perfect fitting.
The thread upper is covered by a thin layer of synthetic material in order to protect and waterproof the foot. A thin foam layer in the interior of the boot, covers the exterior part and the metatarsus for better protection and to provide the player with a better sensation when making contact with the football.
The laces system has also evolved. Just like on the X16+ Purechaos, adidas completely covers the laces on this model too and this way achieve a larger surface to kick the ball with. The interior laces offer better fastening and lateral support.
The new Messi boots are equipped with the TechFit collar which provide the player with great comfort and continuity sensations. The neoprene material this “ankle brace” is made of allows to free the pressure made by the laces so the player can play at the highest level of comfort.
We finish by talking about the outsole where there are no visible changes. The first model already met all the requirements demanded by Leo Messi, we are talking about the triangular studs with the cutting on the front and rear ones. What surprises us is that this model also includes the Sprintframe technology.
