Nike takes a risk and not with just one boot but with its entire collection: Mercurial, Magista, Hypervenom and Tiempo. A special edition that will not go unnoticed, or will it?… Each one of the models are equipped with a camouflage print! This is an adventurous idea and different than what we are used to see. We present to you the Nike Camo Pack.
Each model is different, they do not have the same camouflage print which makes them unique. However we are talking about a limited special collection, and in order to make this pack even more spacial, Nike has decided that the boxes the boots come in have the same design of the boot. Which means, yes! The boxes are also camouflaged.
The Superfly will be the only model that will “wear” the camouflage print. We have not found any technological advances but you can see that the entire Flyknit Upper where we find the NikeSkin technology, has the Camo design.
One curious detail we have found among all the models is the at the end of the laces, where we can see the flag colours of some National teams, when it comes to the mercurial, the colours of the Portuguese flag due to the football star Cristiano Ronaldo.
The boot created for the player that maintains control, that may go unnoticed sometimes for not being a fast player, although we all know he is able to move the entire team. This collection is perfect for him. The Magista Obra is the chosen one to be equipped with the classic Woodland camouflage.
The shoelace highlight on the Magista Obra model follows a striped pattern on white and blue. Will it be because of the Argentinian player, Javier Mascherano?
The Hypervenom Phantom model is the chosen one to be equipped with the desert camouflage print, and although it is part of a Pack that is not going to have any support on the pitch, we have seen one of this Premier League season´s stars wearing this model during his matches with the National Team, we are talking about Jamie Vardy, hence the red and white shoelaces representing Saint George´s Cross.
The Tiempo Legend VI model is the one that experiences the least amount of change. It is not possible to put a print on natural leather since we would lose all the advantages offered by this material, therefore Nike takes advantage of the heel and customizable sole to incorporate the camouflage design. The rest of the boot is completely black, including the SWOOSH.
