15 September 2024 - Written by Laura ArrieroFirst of all, we want to make it clear that this is an opinion and therefore, feelings are sure to be divided regarding the list. Secondly, we would also like to insist on showing retail prices without any discounts. As you all know, deals often fly by, so we want to make sure buyers are informed about the original price of the products mentioned. Now, with that out of the way, let's take a look at them.
We are warming up by taking a look at beginner-tier boots, the ones that are versatile enough to be used in any kind of game. One of this year's releases has proven to be an absolute delight for a price in this range. As expected, they are none other than the adidas Copa Gloro.
A killer product that reminds us of the traditional high-end boots and has that Copa brand essence. Natural leather on the forefoot, good traction along with a versatile plate and the beloved adidas tongue - what more could we ask for less than £100?
Another familiar brand that has been around for a while and that we personally love is Mizuno. Boots of the greatest quality with versatile soles that can perfectly adapt to any kind of terrain. Synthetic boots like the Mizuno Monarcida have our attention in particular, as they barely cost above £50 and are notorious for their comfortable structure and durability.
We didn't want to exclude other beginner-tier boots such as the mid-range adidas Predator football boots, which have both laceless models in their more basic ranges and more robust, durable boots.
We finally reach the much coveted and competitive middle tier. After testing many, many pairs in this price range, we can say that one of the best mid-range football boots is undoubtedly the New Balance 442. A boot that replicates the idea of natural leather on the front with a synthetic finish on the back, crowned with unique details and finish.
Padding on the inside to improve the fit, a dual density plate and a very soft leather to finish off a sensational model. A real bargain for its price that we sometimes are lucky to find for just over £130. Another top product from Nb is the mid-range Furon - a good buy that looks like a top-tier range boot.
Of course, we couldn't leave out the Puma's excellent work on mid-range boots. The Puma Future Match mimic the brand's own top range uppers - or the Puma Ultra Pro, that replicates our experiences with the more expensive models. What a score!
However, good friends, we can not ignore this classic model if we are talking about mid-range boots: the Nike Tiempo Premier, a kangaroo leather boot offering maximum comfort that displays all the essence American brand's traditional football boots.
A product that has been with us for several years and is still an excellent choice in this price range. They have even been an essential part of top division matches, so we can't stop recommending them enough.
To bring this post to a close, we analyse some medium-high quality boots - or elite tier in some cases - with models that may not be top price range, yet are boots that still bring you maximum performance. From the Nike Tiempo Legend Elite, through various models of Mizuno football boots, to the whole range of Puma football boots that go a little over £200 but are a great alternative. Still, we wanted to highlight Skechers' good work this year, since their Razor boots are a real hidden gem even for their original prices.
Going beyond this price would bring us to a different kind of analysis, as we would have all possible products available to check.
Of course, if you look through deals and sales you might find an outdated colourway with a better price, or even football boots from last season (with discounts!) on the Fútbol Emotion website. In addition, we always have classic models available at great prices, such as the adidas Copa Mundial or the Mizuno Morelia football boots, which are a sure choice if you are on a tight budget. Nevertheless, we wanted to highlight those models that will not disappoint anyone. Do you know any other model worth mentioning?
