According to the report by the “Cancer Observatory”, around 1,000 new cases of cancer are diagnosed each year in Spain in patients under the age of 14. This disease brings with it three major problems: the social isolation of patients and their families, which, from the moment of diagnosis, accompanies many of them throughout their lives; insufficient financial resources allocated to research; and a lack of specialisation, which means that children with cancer do not have equal access to the most advanced knowledge worldwide.
FÚTBOL EMOTION SHOWS ITS SUPPORT FOR INTERNATIONAL CHILDHOOD CANCER DAY
To mark this day, we at Fútbol Emotion also wanted to do our bit in the fight against childhood cancer.
With the aim of bringing a smile to the faces of young patients in hospital and fostering in them the values of sport as a means of overcoming adversity, we have partnered with five hospitals and 15 cancer charities across the country by donating 1,500 charity footballs.

- Find out more, raise your own awareness and raise awareness amongst others.
- Keep up to date with the work carried out by various organisations that invest in research into childhood cancer and in the care of sick children, and get involved in whatever way you can (volunteering, providing support, making donations, etc.).
