A few years back, the indoor versions of football boots did not adapt as expected to the futsal court since they wouldn't fulfil the needs of futsal players for that specific sport. But fortunetly the designers of different big brands noticed it and decided it was time to change this, that's why the've been adapting all the advanced technologies from their football models to the futsal shoes with high tech specs.
A good example of it is the NIKE Tiempo Mystic V IC, a new model that enlarges the already wide range of futsal products by the Swoosh brand and with which we can find the same technologies developed in the latest released Tiempo Legend VIfootball boot, with new technologies applied to the classic model from the american brand.
For more than 20 years, Tiempo was related to a football boot with the best leather quaulity. "our priorities a touch and accuracy. With the Tiempo Legend VI we took the risk and decided to work with classic materials in a modern way" said Vianney de Montgolfier, Nike designer.
When we go throu history, the Tiempo models were characterized because of the leather in the upper and the different stitching that will make the leather hold up against over stretching. For this latest generation, NIKE wanted to keep the essence of the classic line, touch and ball control but withouth perforating the leather. That's the reason why they've implemented an interior skeleton that will maintain the shape of the material with the minimum stitching.

For the upper of this NIKE Tiempo Mystic V IC, they used high quality calfskin leather that offers great sensations when contacting the ball. The comfortable fit of this shoe is possible thanks to that skeleton combined with the leather. The toe box aree feature a suede reinforcement element against abrasion.
The midsole maintains the same design and materials as past Timpo IC models with a high density EVA insole for extra comfort and Phylon material that provides excellent cushioning against impacts.
Same happens with the outsole, built with rubber where we can find different panels that ar separated with a flex line in the fore foot area. Plus we also get a pivor point for all turns and cuts.
