The 1997-1998 home jersey is the first and last one worn by captain Beppe Bergomi when he retired at the end of that season. A star-studded team, with the likes of Ronaldo, Baggio, Djorkaeff, Simeone and Zamorano.
The Chilean striker made the shirt even more iconic by adding a + sign between the numbers 1 and 8, so that he could continue to wear the number 9 after politely allowing Ronaldo to wear the current number 9. For his part, Roberto Baggio wore the number 10, completing a legendary trio of strikers. The black and blue stripes are the traditional size, with an all-black collar, Pirelli on the chest and the Inter logo on the left.
