The Black Mamba will forever be part of sporting history, and this away kit pays tribute to the bond between the Blaugrana club and Kobe’s legacy.

This jersey is from Nike, but the Swoosh has been replaced with Kobe’s logo; it’s dyed black and isn’t quite as ‘Laker’ as the one we saw last year. The purple accents are more prominent throughout the kit, which is rounded off with a pair of shorts that are almost entirely purple.

We also have the crest, whose colour changes slightly depending on the angle of the light, bringing out the subtle golden highlights that we see on the shirt and the sponsors’ logos.

In terms of technical features, this is top of the range, with Dri-FitADV fabric that ensures the T-shirt breathes perfectly and doesn’t get heavier as the minutes go by. A real treat in terms of technical performance, with zoned panels to maximise sweat-wicking and a ridiculously light weight for a garment of this style.

This is FC Barcelona’s new away kit, a kit that once again highlights the connection between the worlds of basketball and football, inspired by the iconic figure of Kobe Bryant.
