Leather football boots
The first thing we need to mention is that these are two of the best natural leather boots in terms of value for money. Both are very similar in price, with a good fit and all the guarantees of natural leather. Despite all this, let's take a look at their differences.
The first point is the construction of the adidas Copa Gloro football boots, which feature synthetic microfibre at the back and natural leather at the front. They are stitched to prevent excessive expansion or deformation and, of course, they have a tongue.
The Nike Tiempo Premier III has a similar construction, with natural leather and microfibre, stitching to prevent stretching or expansion, and a tongue, but instead of the typical elastic, it has Velcro. A subtle but first difference.
Differences
If we focus on comfort, we can say that both are fully guaranteed, but if we split hairs, the adidas Copa Gloro last is slightly wider, so it may be a little more comfortable, especially when first worn.
Nike boots are also extremely comfortable, especially if you are looking for something less structured. They are lighter and made from slightly softer leather.
And if we talk about the leather itself, the leather used in the Nike Tiempo Premier is somewhat softer and more malleable, while the leather used in the Copa Gloro, although very soft, does not reach the levels of softness we see in the American brand's boot.
However, if we are looking for a more structured feel with greater reinforcement, the adidas Copa Gloro is a better option, as it provides a more powerful feel when striking the ball.
Moving on to the sole, we have two very similar designs with conical studs and a lightweight, comfortable sole. However, the adidas sole is slightly more responsive and firm, while the Nike sole is softer and more malleable. If you're looking for more aggressive traction, the Gloro is a step ahead.
We must mention that in terms of soles, we have the SG version with anti-clog technology for the Nike Premier. We are sure to see versions of Gloro with aluminium studs soon, but it is great to have an alternative in this price range with top-of-the-line technology from Nike football boots right from the start.
Conclusions
And now we come to our conclusions. Which one is better? Well, as on many other occasions, the answer is: it depends. If we want a natural, lightweight feel and excellent comfort, the Nike Premier is the best choice. If, on the other hand, we are looking for a structured feel with good traction and grip, the adidas Copa Gloro is more suited to that style of boot. Two magnificent options that are very difficult to go wrong with. Which one would you choose?
