For those of you uncertain about this CR7 tribute collection, it is a succesion of 7 different models from which 4 have shown up already, each of them resembling a different stage  the professional career of CR7. The first four chapters of a collection geared to pay tribute to a certainly unrepeatable player for Nike.

On this occassion, the new Nike Mercurial football boots are inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo early stages after joining Manchester United. Pay close attention as they introduce a prominent number 7, a number that had been previously worn by other Red Devils' flagship players, such as George Best, Eric Cantona, or David Beckham. A number that elevated him to the category of football star ever since he started playing in Old Trafford and which has accompanied him throughout his entire career.

The title Forged for Greatness accurately represents how Cristiano Ronaldo arrives to Manchester as a thin 18 year old youngster, lean but almost without any musculature, and how through effort and sacrifice he started gaining weight in order to be able to compete at a peak level in the demanding Premier League.

Combining several shades of grey, the inspiration of this boot comes from the Manchester steel factories, combined with an eye-catching transition to an orange sole plate, representing the fire upon this steel is heated and forged.

The new Cristiano Ronaldo football boots will be available at Fútbol Emotion from the 10th of April, by clicking on the link: Nike Mercurial Football Boots
