Latest signings at Puma Football

Over the last few years, we’ve seen the German brand expand its roster of players with some major signings. Let’s take a look at those latest signings and why Puma is on a roll.

Puma Football signings

A few years ago, we could see that Puma was lagging behind in terms of visibility and reach, as we didn’t see their boots in every football match, even though in terms of quality and performance they were on a par with the very best. To address this, Puma has pulled out all the stops, and now we see that, in practically every match, the world’s most popular feline is present. And that, friends, is absolutely brilliant news.

Let’s go back a few years to take a look at some of Puma’s strategic signings. With Marco Reus, Sergio Agüero and Antoine Griezmann as its leading figures, more and more players began to join the ‘Puma Fam’.

Players such as Vincent Kompany, Samuel Umtiti and, of course, Luis Suárez gave the brand even greater visibility, and we saw it featured in increasingly high-profile matches. The list kept growing and growing, as did the quality of their boots, from the old Puma One models to the current Puma Future range, which are top of the range.

But it was with the arrival of Neymar Jr that Puma football boots once again had a world-class star in their ranks – a move that was simply perfect. With Neymar Jr, everything changed; Puma has become more visible, and we are now seeing more and more amateur players, both male and female, choosing these boots for their matches and domestic leagues.

The latest additions to the Puma Fam are none other than two top-class players: Kingsley Coman and Christian Pulisic, both of whom possess incredible speed and dribbling ability – and, as you can imagine, we’ll see them showcase these skills in the completely redesigned Puma Ultra football boots. A boot that will suit this style of player perfectly and ensure that speed is present in every stride taken by both players.

And as things just keep coming thick and fast, the brand has also expanded into the world of sport: we’ve got new clothing and new Puma accessories, and as we’ve said, the brand is pulling out all the stops to become even bigger – if that’s even possible – in the world of football.

The brand that kitted out Maradona, Pelé and Johan Cruyff seems to be back in the spotlight, and we’re seeing loads and loads of players who are part of the Puma Fam. Who will be the next to join?
