Another model in the well-known Nike Dream Speed saga has arrived, and this time it comes in a colour that suits the Nike Mercurial range perfectly. Let's take a closer look at them.

The Dream Speed saga was born at the end of 2019 with the aim of creating a whole range of football boots inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo. These boots feature moments from Cristiano's career and places where he has played. This time, however, the aim was to capture the spirit of Cristiano Ronaldo in the boots.

The idea behind the green colour is to represent the joy of overcoming problems and achieving your dreams, as Cristiano Ronaldo did throughout his career.

Green has been chosen as the base colour, with certain details in black and a flashing hatching that represents speed. We can see this on the front of the boot, with vertical lines reminiscent of those seen at maximum speed.

There are also more details in black, such as the MDS logo and the Nike swoosh, which has a similar weave and reinforces the overall concept of the boot.

Technically, there are no changes to a boot that is simply brutal. The microfibre upper provides that perfect Mercurial fit and extra grip. However, the star technology remains in the outsole, with an extremely aggressive plate incorporating Airzoom for both comfort and reactivity.

So, we have an eye-catching boot that looks like a beast on the pitch, and that we will see not only on Cristiano Ronaldo's feet, but also on those of players who have inherited the number 7 shirt, such as Mbappé, Vinicius Jr. and Ansu Fati.
