As the 2026 World Cup enters its final stages, we have a new special colourway for the Nike Mercurial, which we’ve already seen on the feet of one of its leading figures, Mbappé.
This new Scorpion pack draws on Nike’s iconic association with the scorpion, reminding us of that legendary advert we saw back in 2002. Now, this design and spirit are reflected in a pattern that features across the Mercurial range, in both the Vapor and Superfly versions.
This weave blends shades of blue and coral with a striking white swoosh, resulting in a truly spectacular design. The nod to the scorpion is also evident in the knitted section, where the laces feature the scorpion logo printed on them.
From a technical point of view, there are no changes compared to the current version, with the new upper on both versions and the redesigned AirZoom plate, which gives us that aggressive and radical traction so characteristic of the Superfly model.
