Adidas unveiled a relatively conventional design for Manchester United’s home kit this year; however, for the away kit, it has opted for a much more eye-catching and groundbreaking design that we’re sure will delight all their fans.
Manchester United away kit
The inspiration comes from the city of Manchester itself, as the famous murals in the Northern Quarter have been chosen to give the away kit that special touch. The gold colour hints at the patterns of the murals, which on this occasion are reproduced almost perfectly across the entire jersey.
The remaining black details round off a look that never fails to impress; we can also see how it retains the crew neck, a hallmark of today’s minimalist jerseys. The kit is completed by the Manchester United shorts, which are also black, adding that touch of elegance that the gold demands wherever it goes.
From a technical perspective, the jersey features adidas’s own climachill technology, which will keep us cool and dry at all times. Furthermore, thanks to the kit's construction, sweat will be wicked away more quickly and effectively, preventing the garment from becoming heavier and allowing us to play much more comfortably in it.
