Firstly, we must acknowledge that both boots are excellent and that, despite their differences, they are two very good versions of the adidas Predator football boots. However, there are differences between the two models that will influence your choice when buying.
The main change is to the upper. Although the material is still adidas Hybridtouch, the new generation is called 2.0 and gives the upper a second-skin look with a touch of matte neoprene.
The Predator Accuracy was more like synthetic microfibre, with all the grip provided by the Predator element. So, the new Predators have a tighter, thinner material, while the old ones have a slightly softer, looser material.
We must talk about the last, as it has changed significantly. In the previous model, the boot was generally perfect for wide feet, but in the new model, the last is narrower. It's not extreme, but you can feel it's tighter in all parts of the boot, particularly the heel area, which secures the foot to the base very well. I particularly like the change, but if you have very wide feet, the previous generation might be a better option.
We continue with the Predator Element, which has changed from a 'high-definition grip' to 'Strike Skin'. While the small squares distributed throughout the boot provided excellent grip, the new model simply offers superior grip thanks to its larger rubber elements, which are particularly noticeable during shots.
Note that there is no reinforcement on the outside of the foot, unlike the previous model, so if you use the outside of your foot a lot, you should take this into account.
Next, we move on to the outsole, which has also changed. We no longer have a split sole, but a full sole with laminated lugs that are more reactive and harder. The grip of the lugs is similar, so it's a matter of preference: if you want a softer, more comfortable outsole, the old model is a better option. On the other hand, if you are looking for reactivity and stability, the new Predators are for you.
Finally, we will make a general conclusion about the aesthetic aspect, which, as you can see, we have barely mentioned. It is clear that, when we take into account the tongue, the redesign of the treads, and even the new Predator element that reminds us of the Mania, the winner is obvious.

So, if you're looking for a comfortable, wide boot with grip elements, the Predator Accuracy is the best choice. If, on the other hand, you want a snug boot that feels like a second skin, that is a bit lighter, and that evokes nostalgia with its new Predator design, the Predator Elite is the one for you.
