'Brand New' Balance

In today’s post, we’ll be discussing the new colourways for two football boots from New Balance; let’s take a look at them together.

As you’ve all no doubt noticed, New Balance has made huge strides in recent years. The brand has managed to compete with the major players in the football market, offering products of excellent quality and winning over both sports enthusiasts and top professionals in the world of football, such as Liverpool striker Sadio Mané, who, as you all know, is one of the brand’s leading ambassadors in football.

For the past few months, New Balance has been aiming to revolutionise the market by introducing a completely new boot – a laceless boot – and we’re obviously talking about the New Balance Tekela V3. These highly innovative boots have been very well received, and today the American brand has launched a new, much more eye-catching and bold colourway. The boot features a navy blue colourway throughout, accompanied by fluorescent orange accents. This colour scheme runs across the entire boot, right down to the sole. The orange New Balance logo features subtle blue details, a design motif that also appears on the sole but in reverse: a blue base with splashes of orange. Let’s also take a look at its technical features. The upper is made from synthetic material with a small raised section designed to provide much better grip and control over the ball. Furthermore, inside the boot there is a small membrane that helps keep the foot stable and secure within the boot.

We now turn to the Tekela’s sister range: the Furon, a pair of boots with a completely different philosophy. Whilst the Tekela is designed for players who enjoy controlling the game, touching the ball frequently and taking the lead in creating play, the Furon represents the exact opposite. These are speed boots, created for players seeking explosiveness, rapid changes of direction and improved dribbling skills. This is made possible by an extremely lightweight synthetic upper and a stud configuration designed to enhance speed and explosive movements. We also see the same philosophy reflected in the colour scheme: a navy blue that covers virtually the entire boot, complemented by a few orange details.
