Fútbol Emotion's Boot Spotting #4

The season is back, and with it come a few surprises – both in the results and in the boots worn by some of the players we’re highlighting this week. Limited-edition boots, sudden changes of model and new ranges set to be released. Today, Fútbol Emotion’s Boot Spotting section returns.

The German club’s promising young player made the headlines this weekend after becoming the youngest player ever to feature in an official match for Borussia Dortmund. However, another detail that really caught my eye was his choice of football boots: a pair of Nike Mercurial Vapor Nike By You.

Pere Milla (Elche CF) - adidas Predator Mania Japan Blue

It was a very tough weekend for Real Madrid and FC Barcelona in LaLiga, but it was the Elche CF match that caught our eye the most, as Pere Milla, a player for the Alicante-based club, took to the pitch for the second competitive match in a row wearing his adidas Predator Mania Japan Blue boots. One of this year’s best reissues, brought to us by adidas Football.

Cesc Fàbregas (AS Monaco) - Puma Ultra 2.1

Following the discontinuation of the Puma ONE, the Ligue 1 midfielder switched to a different boot within the German brand. Until very recently, he had been seen wearing the low-cut version of the Puma Future 6.1. However, last weekend during his team’s victory over the ever-favourite and formidable Paris Saint-Germain, Fàbregas took to the pitch in the new Puma Ultra 2.1, boots very similar to the 1.1 version but with a slight difference in the upper, giving them greater durability and a simply fantastic colour scheme.

Neymar (Paris SG) - Puma Future ??

With the launch of a new Puma boot range drawing ever closer – particularly given the numerous images leaked by accounts specialising in football boots – it is now fairly safe to assume that PSG’s Brazilian star, Neymar, will be swapping his Puma Kings for the new range from the Future line. As for the boot’s construction and its official name, we cannot say anything with absolute certainty at this stage, but personally we believe the upper will be quite different from the current Future boots, as it will feature far fewer textures and 3D details in that area.
