Hip-hop fans will be familiar with British rapper Stormzy, one of the country's and the world's most popular artists and a true lover of the beautiful game. To mark the occasion, he has teamed up with the adidas brand to create the Merky FC project, which aims to give young black people a chance in the football industry.
As well as creating the entire partnership, they have also created an exclusive adidas Predator featuring Merky FC's own design.
In this case they come in black with volt yellow detailing in a very Stormzy style and with an eye-catching sole unit. The hip hop vibe is all over the shoe with the Merky FC logo on the tongue and the outsole in a very graffiti style.
Another detail is the yellow on the adidas stripes and on the Predator element, making the boot stand out even more. The design is completed by a yellow insole with the Merky FC logo.
On the technical side, there's nothing new to report as we still have Hybridtouch 2.0 as the main material for the upper, with the tongue and Predator element on the side. The outsole is also unchanged, giving us a comfortable and reactive traction that combines the best of both worlds.
This is the new adidas Predator Merky FC, a great boot with a great message that will look great on the pitch.
