New Balance Furon football boots

We begin our review with the new Furon V 7, Sadio Mané's new boots, which bring with them a radical change. They are still made of knit, but it is a new knit called Hypoknit, which is much softer than the previous generation. In addition, it has an internal mesh that extends up to the heel, promoting the boot's lockdown and improving the overall fit.

In addition, we have a new lacing system, which allows for a much wider striking surface, as well as an added piece to the knit that ‘simulates’ the lacing and further enhances the fit. As if that weren't enough, we have a new, slightly wider last that opens up the Furon to a much wider audience, as well as a sole with incredible grip. Without a doubt, one of the best speed boots on the market today.

We also have another revolution in New Balance touch or control football boots. The boot has been completely redesigned, also using Hypoknit, which guarantees a super-soft surface on every part of the boot.

In addition, we have a certain amount of traction on the inside, which provides some grip on the inside and at the tip, improving both passing and shooting. The knit in the middle of this laceless boot is simply brilliant, as it fits like a glove and feels fabulous

The sole has been completely redesigned, with semi-conical studs at the rear and conical studs at the front, making it easier to turn and change direction. But if that weren't enough, we have certain side studs at the front, in addition to the usual ones, to provide even more traction every time we sprint to either side. A real treat from a technical standpoint.

In conclusion, New Balance's boots for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar are absolutely amazing. The two new designs from the American brand have raised the bar for boots that were already good. These are two of the best releases of the year, the colourway mix of silver and blue is great on both pairs. As New Balance says, we now have the official boots for the World Cup, so all that's left is to decide whether we prefer Tekela or Furon.
