New Nike Phantom 6

These new Nike Phantom football boots are set to transform what we have seen until now. You could say that the new model combines features from the Phantom GX2 and the much-loved GX1.

Let's start with the basics. The boot's shape has been modified to provide a snugger fit than the previous generation, despite being slightly shorter. The heel cup has also been adjusted to improve lockdown significantly.

We also changed the shape of the upper, reverting to the double-layer design of previous versions. The internal layer comes into contact with the foot and the external layer is made of gripknit for a more localised grip.

This Gripknit has the same shape and softness as the Gx1, but with the flange and weave of the Phantom GX2. However, this is not the most significant change. The high versions have covered laces, as in past models of the silo, which I personally like.

The change that this silo needed the most was to the sole, and it has improved a lot. Firstly, two additional studs have been added to the central part of the boot to provide extra support and prevent unnecessary pressure points in the metatarsal area. In addition, the conflicting lugs have been refined to make them smaller and rounder, and the Cyclone 360 has been refined too, retaining the essence but with much more finesse in its execution.

In conclusion, Nike has given the Phantom a new shape and improved the sole to recover the essence of the first generation, despite the fact that the Phantom was well liked. It is a boot that has many improvements on the previous model and has all the essence of Phantom. It is now available at Futbolemotion.
