Judging by the dates, the presentation of Real Madrid's new shirt must be just around the corner. When we showcase the latest kits of major teams on our social media, we often encounter a wide range of opinions about their design. These comments vary greatly — what some consider hideous, others consider a work of art. That's why we've scoured social media to find out which “Concept Kits” have proved most popular with Real Madrid fans.
White is, of course, the colour chosen by all the ‘designers’ for the base of Real Madrid's new shirt, but creativity can be found in the details. There are proposals that break completely with the sobriety to which the Merengue club has accustomed us. The most disruptive designs we have found for the new Real Madrid shirt are diagonal lines and dragon motifs. These would be unimaginable in the club's home kit today, but I would love to see them become a reality just to hear the football community's opinion on them.
However, some users have opted for a combination of the modern and the classic, taking designs from the German brand seen years ago and adapting them to what could be Real Madrid's new shirt for the 23/24 season. Personally, I think this is the most attractive design, and the only one that could realistically become the new shirt for the Chamartín team. It could withstand the challenges of rivals and the unstoppable Vinicius Jr on the Santiago Bernabéu pitch.
When it comes to Real Madrid's second shirt, the club tends to experiment more with colours such as blue, black and green. We see something different every season for away games, and online designers offer various options for this kit, aware of this. Dark blue is one of the most commonly used colours for this kit, which is hardly surprising given that several of Real Madrid's previous away shirts have been this colour.
Another colour that appears frequently is gold, either as the main colour or in the details. This shade has long been associated with Real Madrid, and we are bound to see it again in some form in their kits next season.
Designers, would you like to create the new Real Madrid shirt? If so, let us know via our social media channels, and we can assess whether your designs are better or worse than those of the German brand. Let's keep this between us, but I already know what the new Real Madrid shirt looks like. It might be one of the designs we've seen today — who knows?
