This second week, we have launched three brand-new venues, previously unseen at Futbol Emotion camps: Benicasim, O’Grove and Torremolinos. At the same time, we held the 11th edition of Futbol Emotion’s longest-running camp in the Cantabrian town of Santoña.
During the first week of July, more than 160 goalkeepers enjoyed a week-long training camp just like professional footballers, in an ideal setting where everything revolved around football, with their gloves and the goal taking centre stage.
A range of options for enjoying the same passion, all of which share several similarities. Top-class coaches, all of whom train in the youth academies of first and second division teams or are, or have been, professional footballers. Celta de Vigo, Atlético de Madrid, Levante, Racing de Santander and Deportivo de la Coruña are just some of the clubs that have been represented at our camps. Different ideas and approaches to teaching goalkeeping.
Those who prefer the warmth of Spain and the charm of the Mediterranean beaches were able to enjoy two ideal locations, where top-flight teams hold their pre-season training camps: Benicasim at the Intur Orange Hotel and Torremolinos at the Natali Hotel. Meanwhile, those who favour the northern climate and the coastal surroundings of Cantabria and Galicia came to the Hotel Juan de la Cosa in Santoña or the Mar del Norte in O’Grove.
All that remains is to bring the summer camp season to a close with the final camp of 2019 in El Rompido (Huelva). Let’s make the most of what’s left and see you next year!
