All 2022 Qatar World Cup jerseys

Let's take a look at all the jerseys for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Here we go!

25 September 2022 - Written by David del Río

The 2022 World Cup is revving up because there is very little time left before the ball starts rolling in Qatar. So let's take a look at the jerseys and kits of the different national teams that will be competing for the FIFA World Cup.

Qatar

The host team's home jersey is quite classic, featuring their characteristic maroon colour. The white collar tips stand out, paying homage to the national flag. The crest and Nike logo are centred, which is becoming a trend in new jerseys. We will see how the hosts fare with this jersey.

Ecuador

Ecuador's home kit shares details with the other two kits presented for the upcoming World Cup. All three kits feature the country's map with coordinates on the collar (0,0',0'' referring to the equator), a stamp inside the collar with the four regions of the country, a pattern that varies at the bottom on the reverse side of the crest, and finally the name of the country in six languages running across the lower waist. Three jerseys from the Marathon brand that are a great success thanks to their details and the correct choice of colours.

Senegal

A bold jersey, as we have seen in recent Puma designs, which pays tribute to the one worn in Korea and Japan in 2002, the World Cup debut of the Senegalese national team. The coloured arrow commemorates the sleeves of that legendary kit, with which they reached the quarter-finals.

Netherlands

For the ‘Orange’ selection, we have a luxury item from the American brand Nike, which presents a jersey with two types of orange, one darker and one lighter, so that in the stadium lights they look like the lion’s mane we see on their crest. A visual luxury that simply looks perfect.

England

We continue with Nike designs, this time with a somewhat retro design, featuring a blue gradient on the collar and shoulders that is very reminiscent of the classic shirts of the 1990s. Of course, the nickname ‘The Three Lions’ is emblazoned on the collar to complete a design that is both classic and eye-catching.

Iran

The Iran jersey is inspired by the national team's flag. Manufactured by local brand Mojoo, it features the three colours of the flag with horizontal stripes across a white background. It also has a leopard print watermark pattern on the upper part, highlighting the animal's importance in this country.

USA

For the American team, we have a classic jersey with a white background and, once again, the crest in the centre. Of course, we have various red and blue details reminiscent of the United States flag and different Nike logo details throughout the jersey. A classic jersey for Pulisic, Dest and company.

Wales

The Wales adidas jersey is classic but with small details that make it special. It has the typical red background but with a pattern throughout the jersey resembling scales representing the skin of a dragon, an animal that is a symbol of Wales. It also has green and white detailing on the collar, alluding to the flag. A classic and representative style for Gareth Bale's team.

Argentina

We come to one of the favourites for this World Cup, with a jersey that is very reminiscent of the one used in the 2014 World Cup, where they reached the final. The front remains classic with the typical sky blue and white stripes with black details on the collar and sleeves. However, the highlight is on the back, where we see thin sky blue lines that, together with the white background, recreate the Argentine national team's flag, along with the Sun of May on the collar. A more classic design than the previous one, but one that is sure to delight fans of the Albiceleste. Leo Messi, De Paul, Lautaro Martínez and the rest already have their new kit for the big event in Qatar.

Saudi Arabia

In this case, we have a very consistent jersey from Nike, which maintains the hawk feather and palm leaf pattern on a white background (a design that fans loved) but adds two details. These can be seen in the green logo, as well as the swoosh, and the small palm tree, typical of the country, which can be seen on the collar.

Mexico

The ‘tri’ returns to green as its main colour, with a bold and distinctive design. Against the green background, we see a series of patterns with red and black details representing the plumage of Quetzalcóatl, the feathered serpent of Mexican culture. The rest of the kit is completed by red adidas stripes and the new FMF crest.

Poland

Robert Lewandoski's team is sporting a new Nike jersey in classic white, but with a grey design on the collar and sleeves inspired by the plumage of a white eagle's wings. This is a clear reference to Polish culture, as this animal also appears on the national coat of arms. A classic design with just the right details to make it stand out.

France

In this case, we have a totally classic design, with the typical dark blue we have seen in recent years. However, it has two distinctive details: the French flag on the cuffs and the logo and numbers in gold, a welcome detail for the recent world champion.

Australia

For the Australian jersey, we have the classic yellow colour with green details, which has a different look thanks to a pattern across the entire jersey that aims to represent the beauty of Australia's typical landscapes. The 7-pointed star completes a classic design that works.

Denmark

The Danish team has a single design for all the jerseys it will wear in this World Cup. The Hummel brand was inspired by the design of the 1992 jersey, when they were European champions. Arrow-like designs are applied to the jersey in a slightly different colour tone, completing the design. An elegant look that still features the Danish motto on the inside of the collar: “For Denmark” and “Part of something bigger”.

Tunisia

The Kappa brand presents a design with certain details for the Tunisian kit. An abstract image of an eagle is watermarked across the entire jersey on a white background. The rest of the kit is completed with red details on the sleeves and collar.

Spain

La Roja has a new jersey that opts for a classic design with red as the base colour and dark blue returning to the design. Small details include the country's flag around the V-neck collar and the classic adidas stripes on the sleeves. A classic design that we will see if it brings luck in the upcoming World Cup.

Costa Rica

New Balance presents the new kit for the World Cup in classic red, but with striking blue cuffs and a classic white V-neck collar. This time, we also see the new logo of the Costa Rican Football Federation.

Germany

We are perhaps looking at one of the most beautiful jerseys we will see at the upcoming 2022 World Cup in Qatar. On the classic white jersey, we have a new feature with a black central band, bringing back memories of the second jersey we saw at Euro 2008. In terms of details, we have the classic “Die Manschaft” on the inside of the collar, as well as the colours of the flag running around the entire collar. A stunning design for the German national team.

Japan

The inspiration behind adidas' design for the Japanese jersey comes from a classic Japanese art form, origami, which is why we see a series of white patterns on a dark blue background representing different figures from the ancient culture of origami. The design is completed with a dark blue collar and the Japanese flag on the back of the collar. A bold choice that will really stand out on the pitch.

Belgium

The Red Devils are sporting a classic red jersey with details on the sleeves and collar. Black extends from the collar down to the sleeves, where flames are depicted on each arm. It's a bold design that looks great on the pitch.

Canada

The Canada jersey is the same one we saw in the qualifiers and the one they will wear for the first time in a World Cup. The red colour throughout the jersey is only altered by the different weaves of the fabric, which feature the Nike logo in white and the Canadian crest.

Morocco

The Atlas Lions have a new jersey clearly inspired by the one worn at the 1998 World Cup in France, a glorious period for the Moroccan national team. The classic eye colour is only interrupted by a green stripe with thin white edges, which is only broken by the Puma logo in the centre. A retro design completed with green details on the collar and sleeves.

Croatia

The classic design of the Croatian national team's kit has changed this time around, with white taking centre stage and the classic pattern of alternating red squares on the jersey, except on the sleeves. The Nike logo and crest are centred, and there is a white space on the back where the numbers will be placed.

Brazil

The Brazil jersey features the classic yellow, green and blue colours, with a jaguar pattern across the yellow area of the jersey. The slogan ‘garra brasileira’ is on the collar, and the button-down collar completes the classic design for one of the favourites to win the World Cup title.

Serbia

This jersey features a red base with various gold details on the cuffs and inside the collar. The special detail is the cross-shaped watermarks that spread across the entire jersey. The new double-headed eagle logo stands out on the chest area.

Switzerland

The Puma brand has unveiled a new design for the Rossocrociati, clearly inspired by the jersey worn at Euro 1996. The gradient seen at that time has been replaced by white lines, also in a gradient, which blend into the red of the rest of the kit. The collar features new white and red details that complete this classic and attractive design.

Cameroon

The Indomitable Lions present a new jersey manufactured by Lecoq sportif with the classic green background but with details of the flag on the side of the collar. Two yellow and red stripes stand out prominently on the front. As if that weren't enough, the rest of the jersey has a claw-like pattern, again alluding to the lions' claws. A striking jersey from the Cameroon national team.

Portugal

The jersey that Cristiano Ronaldo will wear in the upcoming World Cup pays homage to the flag, dividing the jersey in two with its colours. It is a daring design that has been both loved and loathed in equal measure. The rest of the jersey remains classic, with the Nike logo in gold and the crest on the chest. It is a groundbreaking style, and we will see how much luck it brings the Portuguese team.

Ghana

The Black Stars feature a new all-white design by Puma with different details on the front. The black star is clearly visible between the Puma logo and the crest, as is the flag at the end of the sleeve cuffs. A retro design that really stands out on the pitch.

Uruguay

The sky blue presents a new, totally classic kit, but with different distinctive details in a design that has charmed everyone. The Charrúas present a kit that seeks to commemorate the golden generations of the national team since 1924, hence the retro buttoned collar and thick white cuffs. A stunning design that we will see what results it brings to Luis Suárez, Cavani and Darwin Núñez in the upcoming World Cup.

Korea

It comes in red with a tiger skin-style watermark on the collar and sleeves. The rest of the jersey stands out with a black collar that matches the colour of the Nike logo and the Korea crest. A very eye-catching jersey.
