On Wednesday 26 July, FC Barcelona unveiled their new second kit. Predominantly white with subtle blue and maroon detailing, the jersey was first worn on the pitch during the friendly against Arsenal on the club's tour of America.
However, this is not the first time that Barça have worn white. The current design is inspired by the original jersey worn by the team in the 1970s, when the club's star player was the Dutchman Johan Cruyff.
In the 1950s, when Laszlo Kubala from Hungary played football in Catalonia, his team also wore predominantly white.
Another interesting new feature of this kit is the inclusion of the old Barcelona crest, used between 1975 and 2002.
The new Barça jersey is now on sale at Fútbol Emotion, in both physical stores and our online shop.
