Following the controversial launch of the second black jersey featuring five differently coloured stripes, Benfica faced the challenge of creating a design that would instantly win over its fans.
The Club of Light's new third jersey has a classic style: white with three red stripes on the shoulders, and details in five different colours on the sides that extend down to the hem, emphasising the chromatic diversity. The message is clear: to pay homage to the Portuguese community abroad, united by their most famous club.
This launch comes at a time when we are paying tribute to the fans who support the club, even those from outside Portugal. So it's no coincidence that this jersey embodies the spirit of the motto 'Um amor sem fronteiras' ('Love without borders').
