The first thing we have to highlight is the unboxing of the adidas Predator Edge, as the packaging of these boots is incredible. They come in a box with an asymmetrical divider that slides open to reveal the boots.

Once inside, we find the typical adidas bag for carrying our boots, something that some people use and others don't, but which comes in very handy, as well as the shoehorn that is also included in the box. The rest of the box retains the new Edge design, which is very different from the adidas Predator Freak.
After unboxing and testing them at home, we want to emphasise that these are not the adidas Lethal Zones, although they do have aesthetic similarities to the previous Predator models. However, in terms of performance, comfort and touch, they are nothing like that adidas model.
Starting with the boots themselves, our first impressions are that they are not as radical as the previous adidas Predator Freak boots, but they do retain all the distinctive features of authentic adidas Predator boots.
After the first training session, we can say that the last itself does not seem as wide as was mentioned in the initial moments of the training. The rest of the boot remains intact, even the angular finish, which in some cases causes minimal discomfort, but this will surely disappear over time.
After about 15 days of training on artificial turf, we can see that the boot ages very well, as we have not noticed any wear and tear except on the sole, of course, which, as you probably already know, loses its chrome finish as the days go by.
Regarding the fit of the boot, one detail that stands out is the ‘height’ of the boot, as we noticed that it is slightly lower and therefore flatter, and closer to the arch of the foot. This improves the fit without laces, but the space in the toe area is very slightly smaller.
We have reached the end of the month of use and are ready to give our final conclusions on these adidas Predator Edge + boots. First of all, we would like to mention that the boots are in excellent condition. Obviously, they show some signs of wear, but nothing striking. The sole has obviously lost some of its initial chrome finish, but nothing significant, which speaks highly of adidas' treatment of this purely aesthetic aspect. We would like to point out that performance is not affected, even if some of the chrome finish has disappeared.
In terms of touch, the boot has changed slightly, but where the change is really noticeable is in the last. The last moves away slightly from the narrow feet it was designed for in the previous generation and focuses on medium feet. This gives us a very balanced range of adidas football boots, with X for narrower feet, Copa for wider feet and Predator for neutral or medium feet, which will be extremely comfortable with these new adidas Predator Edge boots.
In summary, this is a fabulous boot with excellent durability that provides a good fit, good striking power and good traction, regardless of the position in which you play. We can therefore say that it is a highly recommended product.
