New adidas EQT Pack

To mark the 30th anniversary of the launch of the EQT range, the German brand is unveiling a brand-new collection that brings back the spirit of 1991. Let’s take a closer look at all the details.

New adidas Predator EQT

In 1991, adidas launched a new product range and a new concept in high-end sportswear for the most demanding athletes. It was called adidas Equipament, or adidas EQT, and introduced a new logo for the brand.

The logo we now know as adidas Originals, or the trefoil logo, was the one the brand had been using up until that point. However, following this launch, all performance clothing began to feature the new logo, and the collection was released in white and aqua green, with black detailing. In the words of its original designer, “the colours weren’t chosen because they were fashionable, but because green represents sport, ecology, quality and innovation.”

Well, today, 30 years on, the brand is launching a complete commemorative collection featuring three new designs based, of course, on the adidas Predator football boots, its flagship range since 1994.

The pack includes the adidas Predator Freak+ model, a boot that needs no introduction and which we see on pitches at football matches all over the world. The new, more refined Primeknit upper and the inclusion of studs – or the ‘Predator element’ – throughout the boot give it a truly unique character.

Of course, it’s a state-of-the-art boot: a completely laceless boot with a perfect fit for those who love to put spin and curve on the ball with every pass and shot they take in their adidas Predators.

For those who love laces and a more classic fit, we also have the Predator Freak.1 version. This model features striking white and green colours, offers a more personalised fit, and retains all the essence of one of the three-stripe brand’s flagship models.

Naturally, both models feature subtle black detailing and sport the classic adidas equipment logo in aqua green – a real treat for the eyes.

Finally, we have the laceless version of the model, but in the form of the adidas Predator Freak.3 football boots: an entry-level model, yet featuring the full adidas kit aesthetic, with the same logos and colours as previous versions.

And here’s the new adidas EQT pack, featuring three different models that are simply stunning. It’s, of course, a limited edition that will soon be available on the Fútbol Emotion website, so keep an eye out.
