New Balance football boots
We already knew that New Balance's technical quality is top notch from its other models, but this time we see how it also has a special detail with its most classic model, which is tinged with gold. The history of this boot began as a tribute to the most classic football formation, 4-4-2, because, yes, friends, it used to be the most common formation on almost every pitch.
Taking that classic essence, New Balance has designed this boot with that concept in mind, a classic boot made of natural leather, adapting the best quality for the ‘lifelong’ football player. This is the second version, which, while maintaining the essence of the first, introduces slight changes to take into account.
The boot is made from top-quality kangaroo leather, with stitching on the front to prevent the leather from stretching or expanding excessively. In addition, the back features attachment areas, which are the parts we see with dots, that hug the foot a little more tightly and help to make us more comfortable.
Natural leather boots
The front seams have changed slightly compared to the previous generation, but perhaps the most noticeable change is the absence of the tongue. This is more of an aesthetic than a functional element, as we often cut them off. It's a matter of taste.
Another element that has changed for the better is the sole. In the previous generation, we had a semi-conical studded sole with the classic black and white sole. This time, we have a sole with conical studs, which is even more classic, with good flexion and slightly wider studs.
This is a change for the better, as we will have slightly more aggressive traction and greater versatility when playing on artificial turf pitches. New Balance knows how to move forward.
And that's all the news on the gold model of the New Balance 442 V2 Gold, a fantastic boot for anyone looking for a classic model without sacrificing striking colours, good traction and all the elegance of natural leather.
