We would love to meet the Nike football design team in person and thank them for everything they bring us. Without a doubt, the swoosh brand is at the forefront of design, and collection after collection shows us how they stand out from other brands.
The Nike Progress Pack is a colour change for the American brand's two synthetic silos, in which light grey creates a neutral base on which other brighter and more striking colours can shine. But it's not all good news in this collection, as once again we are missing the Nike Tiempo Legend football boots. The manufacturing problems with the brand's most classic model have not yet been resolved, so we will have to wait for these football boots, which, although late, will eventually arrive in our shops.
We will begin by discussing the Nike Phantom GT2 football boots. This time, light grey has been chosen as the base colour, but as we have said on previous occasions, the fact that it covers most of the upper part of a football boot does not mean that it is the main feature, especially when it is accompanied by bright yellow.
Nike has managed to make the broad lines found in the design of the second generation of its total silo take centre stage in terms of design, and proof of this can be seen in these new Phantom boots, where the lines are dyed in a striking colour, attracting the attention of everyone who sees them. But this yellow does not come alone, as orange and blue accompany it in the logos and details, two fun colours that, together with yellow, fill these Nike football boots with light and colour.
But if there is one silo that Nike works conscientiously on, it is undoubtedly the Nike Mercurial football boots. You only need to look at their aesthetics to realise that this is not just any model. Mercurial is the perfect blend of design, technology, marketing and functionality, bringing together everything the modern player wants and needs, and presenting it to you as if it were the solution to all your problems. And the best thing is that, thanks to the incredible confidence you feel when you see yourself playing in boots like these, they often solve the problems you face on the pitch.
Regarding the design of the Nike Mercurial football boots, we must highlight the new swoosh design, which Nike has once again done a great job with. It retains the same shape, but with different silhouettes in various colours surrounding it, it seems to offer us something different, and only Nike is capable of creating that sensation. The rest of the boot, as with the Phantom, has not undergone any technological changes; this is simply a colour change for the two silos made from Nike synthetic materials.
That's all about the new Nike Progress Pack, boots that are now available both in stores and on the Fútbol Emotion website.
Spanish football has reason to celebrate as one of our greatest stars in women's football, Alexia Putellas, officially unveils her first exclusive boot. Let's take a look at all its secrets.
