If there is one essential element in football, it is the ball. Year after year, we see how brands are investing more and more in R&D to perfect this element, and just when it seems that there is nothing left to improve, a new material, stitching or technology appears that changes everything. Puma has set out to lead the market in footballs, and to this end, starting this season, it will be the brand responsible for manufacturing the ball for both La Liga Santander and Serie A.
Today we are here to talk about the new La Liga Santander ball. It has been named Orbita and features a modern, fun and light-hearted design, something typical of the feline brand but which, until now, had not been reflected in Puma footballs.
On a white base, we find a Z-shaped design across the entire surface of the ball. These are dyed brown, a colour on which we can find different white and yellow lines which, together with the fuchsia pink rim, detract from the seriousness of the dark tone.
In addition, the design of the new La Liga Santander ball features a series of slightly thinner lines that nevertheless make a strong impression thanks to their colours. These are blue, yellow, orange and pink, all in different shades, forming a print similar to brushstrokes and paint splashes. This is the most aesthetic element of the Puma Orbita ball.
Last but not least, we will talk about how Puma has implemented its logo on the new La Liga ball. The colour chosen to dress the brand's feline is yellow, a shade that will give it almost all the visibility it needs, and we say almost because the fact that it is implemented on the different shapes that make up the design of this ball detracts from the importance that the logo should have. The opposite is true of La Liga's branding, as the fact that it appears in white on such a dark background allows it to gain presence and stand out, something that is not easy to do on such a crazy design.
That's all about the new La Liga 22/23 ball, with new shapes and colours for an exciting new season. It is now available in stores and on the Fútbol Emotion website.
Today, we're going to take a look at a special top list. We'll be talking about boots that have dropped in price and are now available at crazy cheap prices thanks to some great discounts. Let's find out more!
