SP Football presents the first exclusive edition of 2022. These are the new Earhart 3 gloves by Misa Rodriguez.

January brings new developments at SP Fútbol. Today, the Spanish brand presents an exclusive edition for Misa Rodríguez, one of its most important goalkeepers and current goalkeeper for Real Madrid Women. We are talking about SP Earhart goalkeeper gloves, which, with hardly any technological changes, feature an attractive and colourful design created under the guidance of the Canarian goalkeeper.
We say ‘with hardly any technological alterations’ because, although very few, we did find some variations with the standard SP Earhart glove. The first of these is the latex on the palm. After testing different compounds, Misa decided that she felt more comfortable with the GigaBlock palm, so SP Fútbol has used this latex for both its gloves and all those it will market, offering its customers exactly the same gloves that the Real Madrid goalkeeper will wear.
The second modification is the closure strip. The goalkeeper, a native of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, has decided to remove this strip in order to take the seamless concept to its maximum expression, thus freeing up the wrist joint and making the most of all the latex in these SP Earhart goalkeeper gloves, exclusive to Misa Rodríguez.
Once we had gone over the modifications requested by the goalkeeper for her gloves, we moved on to discuss the design. Blue, orange and white were the colours chosen by Misa for her exclusive gloves, and this is no coincidence, as they are exactly the same colours as the jersey worn by Real Madrid's outfield players, a jersey that she cannot wear as a goalkeeper, so she has decided to incorporate them into her gloves.
The rest of the design is exactly the same as in the last exclusive edition that the Spanish brand made for the goalkeeper, with several elements standing out. One of these is the design on the body of the glove, a tattoo that the goalkeeper has on her forearm and which, in terms of aesthetics and size, fits perfectly on the latex body of these SP goalkeeper gloves, exclusive to Misa Rodríguez.
Alongside this illustration, we once again find the phrase ‘NEVER FORGET WHO YOU ARE’, which has served as a source of inspiration for the goalkeeper throughout her career and is very much in keeping with everything that surrounds football today. In addition, on her thumb we once again find Misa Rodríguez's logo, which replaces the letter ‘i’ in her name with the number ‘1’, something simple, representative and perfectly implemented in the beautiful design of these SP gloves.
Finally, we will discuss the only difference between the gloves worn by the goalkeeper and those that SP Fútbol will release for sale. Misa has requested that one of the characters from the cartoon series ‘The Powerpuff Girls’ be illustrated in the centre of the palm. As this image is a registered logo, SP Football cannot market the gloves with it, so in the version that will be on sale, this image will be replaced by the name of the compound that forms the palm of these SP Earhart 3 goalkeeper gloves.
