Let’s start with the colours featured on these football boots, designed exclusively for Cristiano Ronaldo. Red and white take centre stage in this design, whilst black features on the Swoosh and a subtle touch of orange outlines a smaller logo above the main one. The upper materials are the same as those found on the Nike Mercurial Superfly 8, known as the “Technical Componentized Upper”, which consists of four layers of different synthetics that make these football boots a piece of engineering. We also find Flyknit in the instep area and forming the famous Dynamic Fit Collar, a material that provides equal parts compression and comfort.

Moving on to the design, these football boots stand out for their colours and the patterns featured on them. Against a white background, we can see how geometric patterns in the form of red lightning bolts add colour to these boots, giving them an aggressive and eye-catching look across the entire upper. The sole of these Nike Mercurial Superfly boots, exclusive to Cristiano Ronaldo, is also red, thus blending perfectly with the rest of the boot. Moving on to the Swoosh, Nike’s most iconic feature, this time it starts on the outside of the boot and ends in the central area, reminding us of the first generations of Nike Mercurial Superfly boots, of which we have such fond memories. As a detail, above the American brand’s logo, we find the silhouette of another small swoosh, in orange, which really stands out against the black of the first one. Of course, as with all Nike football boots, there is a lacing system in the central area that will allow the Portuguese footballer to achieve a personalised fit.

In this upper, we can see how the Flyknit on the forefoot blends with the “Technical Componentized Upper”. This consists of four materials that provide breathability, weight reduction, support and feel. The Duragon WT ensures a higher level of waterproofing and grip. With the Avail Q Lining Material and Titan Synthetic, we get an internal layer that acts as a structure, keeping the foot completely dry and snug. The cushioned heel acts as a perfect heel counter, and its non-slip insole prevents any ‘roll-over’ inside the boot.
