New Athletic Club 2021/22 jerseys

Everyone knows it hasn’t been an easy season for the Lions, but we need to look to the future, and the best way to do that is by unveiling Athletic Club de Bilbao’s new kits for next season. 

Of course, the red-and-white stripes dominate this new Athletic Club jersey, but don’t let that obvious fact make you overlook the details it holds. We can see how a diagonal line emerges from the left shoulder, crosses the chest and ends at the ribs. This allows us to clearly distinguish the two shades of red, which are the main new feature of the Athletic Club de Bilbao jersey. Another new feature compared to last year’s jersey is the black trim on the sleeves, a detail that ties the jersey in with the rest of the kit and which undoubtedly makes this design one of the finest we can recall from Athletic Club. The inclusion of the New Balance logo in black on one of the white stripes rounds off a superb piece of work by the American brand.

Let’s move on to the Athletic Club’s 2021/22 away kit. In this case, we’ve been pleasantly surprised, as we were keen to see the Bilbao club break with convention and inject some colour into its image.
