Puma King Lazer Touch – The Return of the King

The German brand Puma has just unveiled a revamped and fully updated version of one of the most iconic football boots in its history. In fact, we’re talking about one of the most legendary and widely recognised ranges in the world of football. In this post, we’re going to explore all the details of the new PUMA King LazerTouch, an evolution that combines the essence of a legendary range with the brand’s most advanced technologies.

Here at Fútbol Emotion, we were really looking forward to this launch, as these are the first Puma football boots to feature Lazertouch technology, an exclusive innovation patented by the German brand. And the truth is that the result has exceeded all expectations. Thanks to this technology, Puma has managed to create unique embossed patterns and textures that run across the entire upper of the boot, giving it a highly distinctive finish. All this is built upon a construction crafted, once again, from the highest quality natural leather: the renowned K Leather. The process involves using lasers to engrave these patterns directly onto the leather, integrating them with precision and achieving a perfect combination of design and performance.

This new release is available in two colourways: white and black. In terms of technology, apart from the inclusion of Lazertouch technology, we are essentially looking at the same base as the previous generation launched last summer, the Puma King Platinum. The Puma King Lazertouch features an inner tongue made from Knit, designed to offer a snug and comfortable fit, moulding to the foot without causing discomfort.

In terms of design, there are two colourways that have a classic yet truly elegant look. A timeless design that captures the essence of the King range, enhanced by subtle details that bring out its character. One of the most striking features is on the inner tongue, where the KING logo appears in a colour that contrasts with the rest of the fabric to make it stand out visually.

In the midsole area, the outer support and the structure that wraps around the midfoot work together to provide maximum stability during any action on the pitch. The design is rounded off by the lightweight RapidSprint FG/AG outsole, making these Puma King boots the lightest in the range’s history. Although they can be used on artificial turf, it is worth noting that they are particularly recommended for state-of-the-art 4G pitches, i.e. hybrid surfaces without black rubber.
