Puma’s new football boots are a welcome burst of fresh inspiration at this time of year. As essential as they are whimsical, because although at first glance there appears to be just a single colour change, behind it lies the new generation of Puma One 20 football boots – a redesign of the upper structure that will further enhance the comfort of these boots.

Puma Future 5.1 Spark Pack
As we described in the post on the Puma Future Flash 5.1, they were created to make a big impact in 2020. A true statement of intent, designed to give those brands that might be complacent a run for their money. The Puma Future football boots are, as their name suggests, the future. Starting with the upper, we see a dramatic change compared to the Puma Future 4.1 football boot from the previous generation. We can see that there is no longer as much mesh in the NETFIT system, and there are fewer lace holes, with laces now secured only where necessary. Furthermore, they feature a far more adaptable NETFIT support system, with a fully knitted upper for a better fit and greater stability, combined with a GripControl Pro Layer applied in the areas most frequently struck by the ball, in the form of grooves.
One of the key features of the Puma Future football boot is its lightness; to achieve this, it features a reactive Pebax plate incorporating RapidAgility technology, with stabilising bars across the instep and a combination of laminated and conical studs to ensure traction in all conditions, supporting explosive, multi-directional movement.
Puma One 20.1 Spack Pack
As you can see, the new generation of the classic boot, adapted to modern football, is back in the form of a restyling. Let’s not kid ourselves – there isn’t a drastic change compared to its predecessor, as they’ve taken a key component – the shell – and given it a new ‘makeover’.
Now, as part of this Spark Pack, the Puma One football boot is available to the general public – a unisex boot featuring an all-new upper that combines stability and touch with K-leather at its core, alongside an aggressive, eye-catching asymmetrical design, which is paired with the rest of the boot made from synthetic microfibre and Puma’s ‘Evoknit’. The ultra-lightweight SPRINTWEB technology is specifically designed to provide the player with better lateral support, as well as improved stabilisation for the foot and heel, without adding any extra weight to the boot.
