The two queens of the game are facing each other and we want to try to compare them in order to help you decide which one is best for you and which one is best for you. We are going to analyse several points of each boot that we believe are the key to make sure you choose the right boot.

We start by talking about the price and we have three options within the high range that range from 259,99 euros to 279,99 euros in the version with tongue. For the Phantom Gx we have 269,99 euros and 289,99 euros for the Phantom Luna. As you can see, there are slight variations within the prices of the higher ranges, where it's nice to have all the variety of concepts within the elite boots. In this point we have to highlight the work of adidas with all the ranges offered.
The Nike Phantom comes directly from the Phantom Luna and it has a very aggressive traction and if you don't like that hard touch, maybe it would be better to choose the FG version, even more if you play on artificial grass.
If we move on to the Predator, it has stopped using the split plate, and opts for a more classic plate, with a mix of laminated and semi-cynical studs where we have a good traction but without having anything really differential. Here my friends, the point goes to Nike Phantom.

We will now move on to perhaps one of the most important points: the striking. To be honest, there is a clear winner here: the adidas Predator. The Predator element provides brutal reinforcement of the hits, whereas the Phantom's reinforcement is more focused on touch and microdots. Although these help, they are not as effective as the adidas solution.
Next, let's consider the width of the boots, which is a key factor in ensuring a comfortable fit. In this case, Nike Phantom clearly takes the point, as the new model, especially the middle part, is much wider than usual.
The Predator is much narrower than the previous generation, as the Adidas designers told us. The base of this Predator is closer to the adidas X than previous generations of the silo. So, if you have a wide foot, the choice is clear.
Next, we will look at the fit, which is a key point in this case because the lasts don't always match. In both cases, the boots provide a good general fit, but the new Predator's last, combined with the heel cup and the boot's overall shape, provides a more aggressive fit and an even greater lockdown.
Let's move on to comfort. First of all, we should clarify that this is a very personal issue, since each foot is different, as you know. However, based on a combination of factors, we award the Nike Phantom the top spot for comfort.
It is a slightly wider boot with a tubular design that provides extra comfort from the first wear, unlike the Predator which is a narrower boot by default and has a better fit. We cannot emphasise enough that this is a very personal choice, and you must take into account the other characteristics we have mentioned.

We will now conclude by saying that we are not going to highlight one boot over the other. However, if you want a tight-fitting boot with strong punching reinforcement, the best choice is the adidas Predator. On the other hand, if you want a boot that is less reinforced and more comfortable with a freer fit, the best choice would be the Nike Phantom. Which will you choose?
